Chair Aware Challenge: Dear friends, We are very excited to announce the upcoming 4th Annual Chair Aware Challenge. The Chair Aware Challenge is supported by the Action Centre Foundation, to provide services for people with physical or cognitive disabilities in Montreal. There are thousands of people living with a physical impairment in the Montreal area. Everyday activities like getting to work, running errands, riding public transportation, and crossing the street are so difficult that disabled people are forced to live in relative isolation! We are looking for Montrealers to sign up and spend a day in a wheelchair, either in corporate teams or as individuals. We are asking you to raise a minimum of $2,000 in pledges for the Action Centre Foundation. All pledges made are entitled to a full tax receipt. We will deliver and retrieve the wheelchair at your office, home or any location of your choice. The “Challenge” begins April 27th, 2009 and will continue throughout May - Action Centre Awareness Month. It’s easy for you to choose the most convenient day for you to take part in this crucial event. Come and experience what it’s like living with a physical disability and have a chance to WIN AN All-INCLUSIVE WEEK FOR TWO AT JAMAICA’S ROYAL GOLDEN GRAN BAHIA PRINCIPE HOTEL! IT’S SO EASY! All you have to do is register to take the Chair Aware Challenge. Register online. Raising pledges online has never been easier or safer on our secure website! Thank you for your support, |
