Honouring Carolyn and Richard Renaud |

Carolyn and Rick Renaud were both born and
raised in Montreal. They have four children and
five grandchildren. Together, they have been very
innovative in their approach to philanthropy. Their
personal mission is to create opportunities in relation
to children’s health and education programs.
Over
the last ten years, they have developed three key
programs which include over 300 non-academic
bursaries in the Quebec university system, the
nurses’ knowledge fund for pediatric hospitals in
major Canadian cities, as well as a toolbox for grade
school children in Verdun to take them through the
completion of university or technical certification.

They continue to be active on several boards and
committees in the Montreal community. A major
part of their present work is dedicated to Centraide,
Concordia University and St. Mary’s Hospital. Their
long-term goal is to create a society with equal
opportunity for all and a raised level of education
to get there. |
